I’ve always been creative, from sewing as a little kid to teaching myself how to paint and draw during Covid. But for most of college, I was convinced art was something I loved... not something I could actually build a life around. That started to change after a internship made me realize I didn’t want the traditional career path I had been preparing for, and selling a painting for $200 made an art career suddenly feel a little less impossible.

Then I went to Morocco for four months, originally planning to take a break from painting and social media, and lasted about two weeks before I bought art supplies and started painting everything around me. One of my first Morocco painting videos unexpectedly took off, and within a few months I had thousands of followers, commissions from around the world, and artwork in four continents.

Morocco didn't just give me inspiration, it showed me that the career I had been dreaming about could actually exist for me. Now I'm finishing college while building my art business, and I'm figuring out what happens when I stop treating art like something I do and start treating it like the life I'm building.
